I haven't noticed this behaviour for a long time, but I also don't switch locations so often (I will towards the end of September, I know it's too late for proper testing). I attached lspci -v to this comment and you can find my lspci -vvnn as attachment of comment #2 at bug #123002. I'll go through logs and try to find relevant part of daemon.log also.
