When opening the project a wizard is shown to set up the project. One page of that wizard is the Kit selector. One project can have several Kits.
The Kits are the links between the project and the target. The kits contain information about what Qt version, sysroot the project need to be built on and what device the project is targeting. A project can have for example 3 Kits. One for the desktop target, one for the i386 emulator and one for the armhf device. It is possible to see what Kits are available in the SDK in the Tools->Options...->Build&Run page -> Kits page There are several ways to create Kits. One important component of the Kits are the click chroots. These are possible to set up in the Tools->Options...->Ubuntu page. But in the next release of the SDK (already staging in https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-sdk- team/+archive/ubuntu/tools-development) it will be all automatic either on the first start of the QtCreator or in the project wizard. Once the Kits are all set up and assigned to the project (Project tab of the QtCreator -> Add Kit) in the Kit selector (just above the green triangle Run button) it will be possible to select the right target. Right now it is not possible to creat click package for Desktop target . ** Changed in: qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Zoltan Balogh (bzoltan) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1347747 Title: Unable to create a click package for Ubuntu project type 'App with QML Extension Library' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu/+bug/1347747/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
