Also, boot is on it's own file system.  I have roughly 250G free on the
usable hdd.  In future installs, I won't separate /boot, but it seemed
logical at the time, and I haven't had an issue since I started using
Ubuntu at 8.10.  This is my first encrypted install, and other encrypted
users are experiencing the exact same error.
