I'm afraid I can't reproduce this with neither 2.17.1 nor the current
utopic 3.3. I tried that with the adt-build-lxc container "adt-utopic"
without any further configuration. Does your "utopic" container maybe
have some particular configuration, such as bind-mounting $HOME or so?
