FTR, I have tested systemd 208 packages in http://people.canonical.com/~pitti/tmp/systemd-208/ for amd64 and armhf.
Note that the newer systemd-shim code itself should not cause any regression at all, as logind 204 does not call it. But starting cgmanager might of course interfere with logind.
