this is still an annoying issue on Precise, Trusty & Utopic at least. Its a show stopper bug for all the users without a third system or distro as he can't search for a possible workaround.
If you get into trouble for booting, then at least the recovery mode have to be bug free as possible. Letting such issue without assigning it is not a taste of serious distro. ** Changed in: friendly-recovery (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Confirmed ** Tags removed: bot-comment ** Tags added: precise trusty utopic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996454 Title: Recovery Mode starts in read-only, does not mount home folder, and hangs when trying to do something To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/friendly-recovery/+bug/996454/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
