For some reason I don't see the actual failure in the dpkg logs, so it's
hard to see what's the actual failure. That said, there hasn't been any
reported Qt upgrade problems and I just tried a 14.04 LTS installation
in virtual machine where I also updated everything.

I'd assume this might be a file system or some sort of hard drive
problem.
