I still have the problem downgrading hal - ev'ry 4-5th closing sleep fails. tried a few workarounds but no luck - using 2.6.20-16-lowlatency & generic with corresponding restricted-modules, xorg-driver-fglrx 7.1.0-8.34.8+2.6.20.5-16.29, with kpowersave! can't wait for the solving of this annoying problem
