It seems to me, that the problem is related to the setting of the primary display in the monitors.xml. Everything works fine unless I move the primary to a display, other than the very left. My setup is a three monitor setup. Primary on the left display works. If I move primary to the center, than the center screen is moved to the left on the next login.
