It seems I do not have this problem on my T61p. However, when I turned it on for the very first time last week, I changed the BIOS settings (for PCI->IRQ assignment) from "IRQ 11" (for every single one of the ~8 listed devices or channels) to "Auto", just on an old Geek's instinct. If the BIOS is serious about running everything through IRQ11, any OS has the right to be irritated. What does your /proc/interrupts tell you? (Applies to all T6x users here)
