Public bug reported: Authentication fails due to incorrectly parsed server response.
I tried to use libpam-yubico to login with the hardware token YubiKey, but access is denied. The error message from the log is: > [../pam_yubico.c:pam_sm_authenticate(985)] ykclient return value (101): Could > not parse server response And the fix is described in this upstream discussion: <https://code.google.com/p/yubico-c-client/issues/detail?id=2>. The fix is also included in the next software release, so a backport might be a good idea. I'm unsure what else will be included in the bug report, but I'm running this OS: Description: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Release: 14.04 And this software version: libpam-yubico: Installeret: 2.14-1 Kandidat: 2.14-1 Versionstabel: *** 2.14-1 0 500 http://dk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: libpam-yubico 2.14-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-30.54-generic 3.13.11.2 Uname: Linux 3.13.0-30-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Jun 27 13:54:04 2014 ProcEnviron: TERM=screen PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=da_DK.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: yubico-pam UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: yubico-pam (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1335106 Title: Could not parse server response To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yubico-pam/+bug/1335106/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
