Btw. I would recommend using a GUI when upgrading Gutsy. apt-get update etc. is simply not good to resolve package breakage. Make sure that you have linux-generic installed which depends on the latest linux-ubuntu-modules. Something you can see in a GUI package manager frontend (eg. aptitude).
