It appears that accesing files outside of bootlogo is no longer supported, thus repacking bootlogo like so: cpio -ivd < bootlogo ls -1 init *.tr *.hlp *.pcx back.jpg gfxboot.cfg langlist | cpio -o --quiet > bootlogo Results in gfxboot being displayed. I'm not sure if I'm missing more files to be included in bootlogo, or in fact if the whole isolinux/* should be included in the bootlogo archive. (E.g. from above bootlogo language selection table didn't print any names, as if the font was missing) But at least I did boot into maybe-ubiquity mode. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1327831 Title: No boot screen starting from 20140602.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/syslinux/+bug/1327831/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
