If you want set another functional key, do next, example: $ gsettings get org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys previous 'XF86AudioPrev' $ gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys previous '' $ gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys volume-down XF86AudioPrev After reboot you can volume down with media previous button.
