Another interesting thing is, that I can't resize the left box. It just doesn't work. I guess, that Evolution can't make the right box smaller and so is not able to make the left box bigger. When there are unread mails or more than one mail is selected, the left box gets bigger and can't be that small and the right box can't get smaller, too -> Evolution oversizes the window.
