I have Xubuntu 12.04 LTS (32 bit) and only xfce4-appfinder starts with a great delay (almost 4-5 sec). xfrun4 (Alt+F2) starts fast instead. I have also Xubuntu 14.04 LTS (32 bit) on the same netbook and when i start xfce4-appfinder it is fast, no delay. The option "--disable-server" is unknown for the command xfce4-appfinder.
