Public bug reported:

Downloaded Gutsy-desktop-amd64.iso. 
Ran Check for CD defects: OK
Tried to boot Live CD
First error message: Cannot allocate resource region 7 (and region 8)
After Ubuntu slider screen: listing includes errors e.g. acpi failure (couldn't 
catch them all.)
Screen goes to brown background:  CD goes manic searching for 1 minute: tracker 
pad works
Then all activity stops and everything locks up.

Running Dell Vostro 1000, AMD Athlon64 X2, 1GB memory shared with graphics ATI 
Radeon express
Dell 1390 wireless card, 120 GB hdd, main operating system Ubuntu 7.04
