It is not necessarily the case that networked printers are PostScript.
The HP LaserJet 2600n has a proprietary protocol, many HP inkjets can be
connected via network and they are PCL printer, The HP printers are
known to the database, so with them there is no problem, but there can
be similar non-HP printers.
