Hi everybody. I have the same annoying problem on my Desktop since a while. This is on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06. But I have to say that the write access to the disk is every 5 secs and not 4 secs on my computer. They are blocks of about 30-70 kb written to the disk as GkrellM tells me.
