Public bug reported:

Launcher icon correctly reports the number of available updates, but
clicking on the icon does not bring up the Software Updater window.
Right-click + choosing "install updates" does work (in the background).

Right-click + choosing "quit", then launching the Software Updater
(either from the dash or from the launcher) works OK.
