Public bug reported: During the installation process of firebird2.5-classic, we can choose a sysdba password (If we leave blank, a random password is choosen), I choose a password but after the installation, the password entered is not the password registered and in use.
When I check the file sysdba.password (/etc/firebird/2.5/SYSDBA.password), I see a random password. If I do a dpkg-reconfigure, I choose a new password and at this moment, the password entered is the registered and functionnal password, but it's not a practical solution. ** Affects: firebird2.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: firebird password random sysdba -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1320113 Title: Error during the create sysdba password on firebird To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firebird2.5/+bug/1320113/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
