I think in that case a universe freeze exeception should be in order.
 - The current version is not very usable.
 - It breaks the desktop experience (by associating itself with executables)
 - No other packages depend on this package

Which are typical aspects of UVF. Except it isn't very high profile. (i.e. not 
many users)
Still, I do hope they sync. This program is a good idea. (being light/directory 
oriented)
