Ok sorry. To tell the truth, some results are shown, it depends of what I search. The first time, I searched for "pdf" and I got no resutls (while instead from tracker-search-tool I get some results) Now I searched for "bin" and I got some results. Especially only files that are on my home.
So I think that the search box of gtk limits the results to the home. In fact I did a test: I copied a pdf to my home and searched again "pdf".
