I have installed the kernel in proposed. Typing from it now. Everything seems fine.
What I'd like to know, though, is whether or not the Trusty ISO is going to be updated with this new kernel. Fixing the bug post-installation is usually fine, but in this particular case, people on this hardware would have to chroot from the install image to do that -- not something Ubuntu's target audience is likely to know to do, much less know *how* to do. Would it be possible to upload patched ISOs, so that one can at least log into the install after a reboot? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315073 Title: Fresh Ubuntu 64-bit install boots with no keyboard, mouse, or network To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1315073/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
