Thanks, that all makes sense, except I have no optical drive, so I can't use CD/DVD to update the BIOS, and none of the links or anything that I searched for make it clear how to use the BIOS ISO via USB. I don't have any Windows install; I have only Ubuntu. I am happy to update the BIOS if I can figure out how to do it. I could even buy a USB DVD drive but that is not efficient and won't be something I can do quickly. Thanks for the help!
