#4 further findings: bug occurs with 3.15.0-0.1 for wifi card bcm 4312 (driver wl). However, also no wifi with 3.15.0-0.1 in lubuntu-14.04 using bcm 4309.
Wifi works with 3.14.2 in both cases.
