I have an extremely similar problem, probably the same bug. I have a logitech headset (Wireless Headset H800) with a usb dongle that shows up as:

Sometimes one, sometimes the other. So upons resume usually my microphone doesn't work, sometimes sound output doesn't work. alsamixer seems to show both normally.
