That I did - though I forgot to set the if-up.d script executable. :P  That
caused a pile of headaches until I checked my assumptions!

Interesting.  Despite my longtime use of Ubuntu flavors, I'd barely gotten
used to the switch to Upstart! Ah, well. :)
