Actually I was too early with that statement. It was still unstable with the new MB. Not as instable as before but I did not remember the bug report as I tried out a few other distros that were all stable, so I have found my solution.
For your reference Ubuntu, Mepis and Linux Mint were all unstable. Suse 10.2, Fedora 7, sabayonne and PCLinuxOS2007 all stable (with old and new HW). I am right now using PCLOS, but considering trying out Debian or Suse.... I hope you are also aware of the thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=412125. I sort of kept track of that one to see if there is a solution, but it does not seem to be the case.. So if you want to close this bug report then that is fine with me, as I will be keeping away from Ubuntu for a while. I did like it, but without stability... -- Feisty complete freeze https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111033 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
