I had the same problem, but I run the integrated Haswell Mobile graphics. So it is not a problem for Radeon only.
I don't have the courage to try it myself. But I you have the problem try the zoom shortcut: Alt+Super+8 I fixed the problem by removing random configuration directories in my home folder and rebooting.
