I managed to fix this, but I'm not sure why: I changed the following line in xorg.conf:
Option "metamodes" "CRT: 1440x900 +0+0, DFP: 1440x900 +1440+0; CRT: 1440x900 +0+0, DFP: 1920x1200 +1440+0; DFP: 1920x1200" To: Option "metamodes" "CRT: 1440x900 +0+0, DFP: 1440x900 +1440+0; CRT: 1440x900 +0+0, DFP: 1920x1200 +1440+0" And that solved it. Not sure what the reaction will be when the external monitor is not plugged in. -- gutsy tribe 5 breaks dual-monitor support nvidia driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135132 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
