Alexis, What I'm doing is to cherry-pick those patches from vanilla kernel 3.14 to ubuntu kernel 3.13. So, you probably will get an update kernel that will enable the touchpad correctly. I just sorted out the essential patch set, but I'm not sure if ubuntu kernel team will accept them for SRU. Anyway, I'll update the info here.
