Public bug reported:

I have problem with m4a files (mpeg4 format) in Lubuntu 14.04 - they are
distored (slightly slower with loads of background noise).
I have tried moc player and i get the 'cant decode' error. I do have
cmus-plugin-ffmpeg / moc-ffmpeg-plugin installed and also all dependencies.
Files are not corrupted because I can play them via VLC and mplayer, but I
would like to be able to open them in cmus - becasue other players I know cant
handle large music libraries with good performance.
This problem started when I did fresh wipe & reload for Lubutu 14.04. I used to
be able to play same files in cmus in releases 12.04, 13.04 and 13.10 with no
problems.

Thank you in advance.
