Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: displayconfig-gtk

Just upgraded to Gutsy tribe 5 a,d wanted to test the no-break X.org.
I just mv xorg.conf xorg.conf.bak so xorg.conf was missing.
X.org loaded just fine. Then I wanted to use displayconfig-gtk to reconfigure X
properly, but it failed loading with an error stating "you need administrative
privileges to run this". I did run it as root. I suspect the tool gets that
error because xorg.conf does not exist, thinking it does not heva the
privileges to open it, failing to detect the file does not exist.
As configuring X should be the first thing one wants to do in this use case,
displayconfig-gtk should be able to load this file.

** Affects: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
