I am having the same issue with a wireless WPA connection under Feisty. The connection with drop out then Network Manager will re-establish the connection. I am using a Thinkpad T40p with the Atheros a/b chipset. I could not connect at all until I disabled the Atheros HAL driver in the Restricted Driver Manager.
