I can only really reproduce this in this scenario: * open an app * make unity crash (or do a restart unity8 in case unity runs rock solid :) * now we have a zombie (not in a unix process sense but in a headless qmlscene sense) of that app * open that app again, it'll fail to start, leaving that artefact behind.
Everything else (e.g. swiping the starting app away before it painted something) seems to recover fine without major glitches. Subscribing unity-mir as that's the one keeping the broken ApplicationInfoInterface entries around. ** Also affects: unity-mir Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1308631 Title: Vertical bar in task switcher in mako on #299 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-mir/+bug/1308631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
