Public bug reported: Ubuntu 7.04, with all the latest updates as at 2007-08-27.
Evolution is running with an IMAP server on the back end, with the settings and directory from an Ubuntu 6.06 install copied across into a fresh 7.04 install. NFS server is running on the 7.04 machine, works fine (albeit a bit slow allowing clients to connect). Now, I had a couple of crashes on the machine when trying to get a wireless USB driver to work, and had to perform a hard reboot. This hard reboot probably caused something in evolution to go bad, and when restarted after the hard reboot, will attempt to synchronise the inbox to the server inbox ('Synchronising folder X% complete' in the status bar). When this synchronisation is happening, if I attempt to mount the nfs server on the evolution box from another machine, the other machine times out with the message 'mount: RPC: Timed out'. There are no obvious error logs on the machine that is doing the inbox synchronisation. Please let me know what error logs you'd like me to collect. I'm currently grabbing the output from 'CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution' - don't know if it'll give any insights though. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evolution prevents nfs server from working when synchronising folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135016 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
