Confirmed on Ubuntu Gutsy with Gnome 2.19.6 Only workaround I've found is to set export LTSP_CLIENT=1 in .gnomerc but this IS NOT a solution because it leads to many other inconveniences, such as no "eject" or "unmount" options on the removable media's icons...
