*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 995645 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995645
A lvm root volume snapshot that has many changes takes too long to activate (lvchange -ay volume). At boot time it doesnt wait and kill process "watershed sh -c '/sbin/lvm vgscan; /sbin/lvm vgchange -a y'", then it won't boot because it didn't activate the boot volume. Its happening here, with volume vg0/trusty and snapshot vg0/trusty_snap. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360237 Title: cannot boot root on lvm2 with (largish) snapshot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lvm2/+bug/360237/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
