It looks like on Aug 9, 2013 1:17 PM the status of this bug has been
updated to "Abandoned". Another link is provided as a problem bug to be
solved first but the link is a dead one now : HTTP Error 404 Not found.

Author Dmitry Shachnev : The !qpa check must probably be replaced with
something else (!mobile?), but I'm not sure about that.
Reviewer Oswald Buddenhagen : I would prefer that you didn't submit this
you didn't add reviewers, so you didn't get a review so far ...
please split the patch into atomic commits (basically, one per bullet point).
Author Dmitry Shachnev : Sorry, I just didn't have time to finish this —
qtconfig didn't actually save most of settings.
I'm not going to enable qtconfig until that issue is solved, so the only part
that makes sense to be done now is the second one — pushed as
https://codereview.qt-project.org/62702.
Author Dmitry Shachnev : Abandoned.

We are nowhere close to see anything coming then.

This means that we can't set the default font and font size for all Qt5
apps in Ubuntu / Debian like we used to with Qt4. The App was Qt 4
Settings and the package was qt4-qtconfig ...

This is quite annoying as from the end user I don't know where Qt5 is
picking up its default font and font size. In my case it's way too big a
size.
