I have tried to share a folder with NFS, but the 'Shared Folders' application
(which should get an 'about' dialog to be able to identify it) does not seem to
take the neccessary action. The share shows up in /etc/exports, but not in
/proc/fs/nfs/exports .
After running sudo exportfs -ra things worked, revealing a number of warnings.
So this needs a bit of attention. Also, the proper options should be updated,
ro, rw, synch .. It seems as if in read-only mode ro should be given..
