@seb128: I came back to my laptop after having locked it manually, and having had the lock timeout elapse.
I unlocked the screen, and started using the laptop. 5-10s later the screen locked, per #1292451. I typed my password again and hit Enter, and nothing happened. Trying again, I noticed that the password entry box was not filling up with *'s in response to my typing. I eventually noticed that I could send other keystrokes and get the window-chooser or workspace-chooser popups, suggesting that my keystrokes were going to the desktop underneath. I logged in on a tty and killed the lock screen, and discovered that my initial password+return had gone to the google talk window below, chatting my login password to a friend. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1292217 Title: screen lock has triggered but keyboard is still connected to the main session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1292217/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
