I second this. I've been wanting to configure a static IP (for better bittorrent performance etc) using wireless with WPA, but that didn't seem to be possible using the GUI-tools in Feisty.
(Work-around: Edit /etc/network/interfaces as described in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=202834 ) When one selects "manual configuration", the network-admin application is opened, from package gnome-system-tools. *However*, since I've upgraded to Gutsy Tribe 5, there are now options for WEP key Hex, WEP key ASCII, WPA Personal and WPA 2 Personal in the Password Type menu. So this bug could perhaps be considered fixed with Gutsy? The problem now is just that I can't make a WPA connection work using network-admin (that is, with Roaming Mode disabled). I'll look more into it, and try to file the necessary bugs, if any.
