I second this. I've been wanting to configure a static IP (for better
bittorrent performance etc) using wireless with WPA, but that didn't
seem to be possible using the GUI-tools in Feisty.

(Work-around: Edit /etc/network/interfaces as described in
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=202834 )

When one selects "manual configuration", the network-admin application
is opened, from package gnome-system-tools.

*However*, since I've upgraded to Gutsy Tribe 5, there are now options
for WEP key Hex, WEP key ASCII, WPA Personal and WPA 2 Personal in the
Password Type menu. So this bug could perhaps be considered fixed with
Gutsy?

The problem now is just that I can't make a WPA connection work using
network-admin (that is, with Roaming Mode disabled). I'll look more into
it, and try to file the necessary bugs, if any.

Bug 113062 and bug 123881 seems to duplicate this one.
