Today I upgraded to 13.10, hoping that this problem would be solved. Unfortunately, I still have no way to avoid the top black bar on my second monitor. That once I am using for Windows as a guest under VmWare. In order to click on a Windows menu, I first have to click on the VMWare tool, which is very inconvenient. Why is it so had to give us the choice to remove this black bar on the second screen?
