I installed

* linux-headers-3.14.0-031400rc8_3.14.0-031400rc8.201403242335_all.deb
* linux-image-3.14.0-031400rc8-generic_3.14.0-031400rc8.201403242335_amd64.deb

With that kernel I can connect to my cellphone access point, but not to
the other network that allows my laptop to connect easily.

So the situation is better than in the repository kernel, but there is
still a bug that needs to be fixed.
