Seems Unity8 already has an environment variable to set the indicator
profile, but it gets clobbered by a hardcoded value of 'phone' that can
only be overridden by a command-line switch.

The Unity8 desktop preview session should set the -profile=desktop
command-line switch when starting the shell so indicators will use the
appropriate profile.
