/usr/lib/news/bin/newsx It's a bash script whose job is to perform some checks on installed newsserver and then call the real newsx executable (/usr/lib/news/bin/newsx.real) with the right parameters. I've manually fixed this bug inserting the lines I've pasted in my last email right into /usr/lib/news/bin/newsx and it now works flawlessly. -- Ciao, Pino -- /var/run/newsx not created at start time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/72856 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
