Well, I am now magically fixed. I appear to have had some Bad Packages from some prior mucking around with the ATI driver. I uninstalled xserver-xorg-core (!) and then re- installed the stock ubuntu packages and now auto-hide plays nicely with my dual monitors.
For reference, I appeared to have had: xserver-xorg-video-ati:amd64 (7.1.0-makson1~raring2) instead of: xserver-xorg-video-ati:amd64 (7.2.0-0ubuntu10) Hopefully this fixes all of the other issues I've been seeing (random X crashes, screen corruption). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1243069 Title: Launcher does not reveal when autohide is on To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1243069/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
