Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
You said that this is on a fresh Ubuntu install, which is promising since it suggests that it should be easier than normal to reproduce. However, I was unable to reproduce this bug on a fresh Saucy i386 cloud instance by just installing php5-readline. I can't figure out what is going on without steps to reproduce, so I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. Please could you see if you can figure out the exact steps needed to make this bug recur? Once done, please change the bug status back to New. Thanks! ** Changed in: php5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1286583 Title: package php5-readline 5.5.3+dfsg-1ubuntu2.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 128 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/1286583/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
