Well, the good news is, the driver detects my new card - the bad news - as others have mentioned https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20/+bug/98641 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted- modules-2.6.20/+bug/103050 still exist - effectivly making this bug not fixed. No point having an updated driver that doesn't actually work.
